KMM-Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary:
Ensure manufacturing processes allow the production departments to achieve daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
4-year degree in related field of study
Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Basic experience required in MS Word
Intermediate experience required in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD/Autodesk Inventor
Preferred Experience:
Intermediate experience in Windows and MS Word is preferred
Advanced level experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint is preferred
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must maintain a high level of flexibility and be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
Proven ability to:
Promote and exemplify the "Keihin Philosophy" and "5 Joys" and maintain a clean and orderly work environment in accordance with "6S."
Make sound business decisions; exercise good judgment; be highly motivated
Establish excellent analytical & problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
Confer with and prepares reports for upper management & possibly other Keihin companies

Interact with various levels of associates
Improve manufacturing proficiency levels to meet plant goals and objectives
Maintain knowledge of all processes, procedures & equipment
Coordinate and recommends cost savings ideas and efficiency for the facility
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed
Requirements
Provide engineering support to production departments to ensure maximum production
Schedule and coordinate timely preventive maintenance of assembly equipment
Work with New Model Engineering to ensure new equipment meets specs
Interact with other departments in order to develop and improve manufacturing efficiency
Identify cost-savings / quality improvement projects in area and lead implementation
Design and develop manufacturing process for new products/product changes
Maintain accurate documentation of processes and designs

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
